China is a favorite, and the pair of Quan Hongchan and Chen Yuxi are competing. China won the gold medal at the Tokyo Games in 2020, with a pair that included Chen.

Americans Jessica Parratto and Delaney Schnell, who won silver in Tokyo, are also in the final.
