How do your county’s high schools rank when compared with the rest of New Jersey and the nation?
Each spring, U.S. & World Report ranks the nation’s public high schools. The magazine collects data for nearly 25,000 public high schools based on the proportion of students who passed Advanced Placement or International Baccalaureate exams, the breadth of the curriculum, graduation rates, scores on state assessments, and how Black, Hispanic and low-income students fare.
The magazine ranked nearly 18,000 schools for 2024, including charter schools. Schools at the bottom of the list did not receive numerical rankings and are listed as “unranked.”
