“My best debate ever,” was Donald Trump’s first reaction after Tuesday’s debate with Kamala Harris, his Democrat opponent. While calling the debate his best, Trump accused the ABC network moderators of working against him.

“I thought that was my best Debate, EVER, especially since it was THREE ON ONE!” Trump posted on social media.

The September 10 debate saw a fierce exchange between Trump and Harris, as the former President called her a “Marxist” while the current vice-president called him “extreme.”

The debate holds great significance as it comes just eight weeks ahead of the US election and this might be the only Presidential debate ahead of the November 5 election.

Trump, who at one point looked like was cruising through this election, is now under tremendous pressure from Harris’ campaign, which was reflected in his demeanor as he raised his voice and resorted to the kinds of colourful invective and often meandering insults that he uses at his rallies.

On the other hand, Harris handled the situation with a great degree of composure and a smile on her face.

With her wit and calm demeanor, Harris adeptly handled Trump’s jabs and criticisms. When Trump attempted to highlight the shortcomings of the Biden administration, Harris countered with, “You’re not running against Biden.”
