Team India’s Triumph at WorldSkills 2024 in Lyon | Entertainment

Team India’s 60-member squad made a remarkable impression at the 47th WorldSkills Competition held in Lyon, France, from September 10-15, 2024. The event, inaugurated by French President Emmanuel Macron, saw participants from over 70 countries competing in 52 skills.

The team, led by flagbearer Shreyansh Sharma from Jaipur, Rajasthan, showcased India’s rich cultural heritage through their distinct ceremonial attire. Shri Jayant Chaudhary, Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, and Minister of State, Ministry of Education, attended the event to support and motivate the team.

With categories ranging from 3D Digital Game Art to Welding, the competition serves as a platform for sharing knowledge, fostering innovation, and promoting unity. The event underscores India’s commitment to developing a skilled workforce, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of making India a global hub for skilled talent.
