Donald Trump was asked whether Alphabet, the parent company of Google, should be broken up during a live on-stage interview at the Economic Club of Chicago.

The former president then claimed he was treated unfairly by Google and “fake news”.

But I will tell you that if I did, it’s a smart thing. If I’m friendly with people, if I have a relationship with people, that’s a good thing.”

There was also a strange story about a conversation he alleges he had with the late Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

Acclaimed TV actor Julianna Margulies has lent her voice to the latest Lincoln Project ad encouraging voters to support Kamala Harris over Donald Trump.
