KEY HIGHLIGHTS

  • Laura Loomer claimed that Biden experienced “a medical emergency on Air Force One”
  • However, a verified video showed the 81-year-old exiting the plane in Wilmington, Delaware
  • Loomer later claimed that Biden’s events in Philadelphia on Sunday had been canceled

Laura Loomer, an American far-right political activist, claimed on Friday that President Joe Biden experienced “a medical emergency on Air Force One” during his flight from Wisconsin to Delaware. However, a verified video showed the 81-year-old exiting the plane in Wilmington, Delaware, and entering his car, contradicting her claims. BNO News Live reported that the White House confirmed the allegations to be “100% false,” saying that Biden arrived at his Delaware residence at 7:50 pm.

Undeterred, Loomer continued with additional claims, asserting that Biden’s scheduled fundraiser in Wisconsin and his upcoming events in Philadelphia on Sunday had been canceled due to the alleged medical emergency.

“Joe Biden was scheduled to have a campaign event in Pennsylvania this Sunday. After he had a medical emergency on Air Force One today, his events in Philadelphia were CANCELED. Before the cancellation, Secret Service reportedly reserved a room inside the ER Ahead of Biden’s visit to Pennsylvania,” she wrote on X.

In another post, she further alleged, “Immediately after I reported on Biden’s Medical emergency today, his campaign canceled events all over the country, including an upcoming fundraiser in Wisconsin and his event this Sunday in Philadelphia. They did that because he had a medical emergency on Air Force One today. I stand by my reporting.”

These claims remain unverified. While Biden’s campaign did initially cancel plans to address the National Education Association convention in Philadelphia due to a ongoing strike, as of Friday evening, he is still expected to make two campaign stops in Pennsylvania on Sunday. He is scheduled to deliver remarks at a church service in an African American community in Philadelphia and participate in a “campaign community event” in Harrisburg later in the afternoon.
