Childish Gambino showcased the trailer for his new film during the BET Awards 2024. A short version of the trailer aired during the commercials, while a longer, two-minute version appeared on his YouTube channel an hour before the event. The trailer had already appeared in theaters and quickly spread online a few days earlier. Gambino will also release a soundtrack for the film.

Plot, Release Date

The trailer reveals Gambino as Bando Stone, a famous musician navigating a world empty of people. He meets a woman and her child, and together they journey through a dystopian, post-apocalyptic world. This world includes giant squids and dangerous emu-like birds. The film currently has no release date.

Musical Projects and New Albums

In April, Gambino started his latest musical project, which might be his last under the Childish Gambino name. He announced on his Gilga project that he plans to release two new albums. The first album is an updated version of his surprise release “3.15.20,” initially released in March 2020. Upcoming World Tour
