CarolinaEast Medical Center earns top marks from U.S. News & World Report

CarolinaEast Medical Center was recently honored with multiple awards and recognitions for their excellent level of patient care.

Per CarolinaEast Medical Center they have been named by U.S. News & World Report on its 2024-2025 Best Hospitals list as a Best Regional Hospital in the Coastal Plain, and a High Performing hospital for Colon Cancer Surgery, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Heart Attack, Heart Failure, Hip Replacement, Kidney Failure, and Pneumonia.

CarolinaEast Medical Center has received the American College of Cardiology’s NCDR Chest Pain ̶ MI Registry Platinum Performance Achievement Award for 2024.

CarolinaEast has also recently received the Get With The Guidelines-Coronary Artery Disease NSTEMI Gold with Target: Type 2 Diabetes and Coronary Artery Disease STEMI Receiving Center – SILVER with Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll achievement awards. These awards recognize CarolinaEast’s commitment to following up to date, research-based guidelines for the treatment of heart disease, ultimately leading to more lives saved, shorter recovery times, and fewer readmissions to the hospital.
