Copa America 2024 schedule: Bracket, match dates, times, fixtures, results for CONMEBOL tournament in USA | Sporting News United Kingdom

The 2024 Copa America brought North and South America together for a special edition of the CONMEBOL continental championship to celebrate the run-up to the 2026 World Cup in the United States.

Hosted in the USA, the Copa America featured the usual 10 South American nations along with six North American guests, who attempted to challenge the established CONMEBOL powers for their own continental crown.

Lionel Messi and defending champions Argentina were forced to navigate a 16-team competition that not only featured all the usual challengers. Hosts USA and fellow CONCACAF powers Mexico hoped to provide a stiff challenge ahead of the 2026 FIFA tournament in their backyard, but fell short with group-stage elimination.

The Sporting News followed every match of the tournament as it happened.
