The television home for the 2024 summer of soccer in the United States is Fox Sports, who own the broadcast rights for both the Copa America and European Championship, which will take place simultaneously.

As such, Fox Sports airwaves will be inundated with soccer games, analysis, and content throughout June and July, as U.S. soccer fans enjoy matches every single day across both competitions.

Euro 2024 will begin on June 14, with the Copa America getting under way six days later. The two competitions will build towards a dramatic finish that will see both finals take place hours apart on the same day, on July 14.

The Copa America will begin on June 20 and run through the final on July 14, with every single match to be shown on television in the United States.

Five group matches will be broadcast on network television, including the first game of the competition for the USMNT against Bolivia, and Mexico’s group stage finale against Ecuador. Once the knockout stage starts, all matches will be televised on FS1, except for one quarterfinal and the title match, which will both be televised on FOX.

Fox Sports studio hosts, analysts for Copa America, Euro 2024

Fox Sports will carry over its studio content through both Euro and Copa America coverage.

Its studio coverage will be headlined by host Melissa Ortiz, a former Colombia international who also contributed significantly to Fox’s coverage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup and 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

She will be joined by analysts Jimmy Conrad and Wes Morgan. Conrad, a former U.S. international, has been with Fox Sports for a number of years serving in a myriad of roles, including studio analysis and podcast content. Morgan is joining Fox for the first time, having just retired from his playing days in 2021 after earning 30 caps for Jamaica and playing a significant role in the famous Leicester City team that won the Premier League in 2016.

Also serving in an analyst role throughout the coverage of both competitions is former USMNT midfielder Alexi Lalas, who has become a hot-button content creator for Fox over the last decade. He will also contribute with episodes of his podcast, State of the Union, alongside partner David Mosse.
