GoFundMe Launched For Ex-GOP Rep. Michael Grimm Of NY After Horse Riding Accident

A GoFundMe was launched for former New York House Representative of the Republican Party, Michael Grimm, after he suffered a horse riding accident earlier in September. The accident has left the former marine completely paralysed, and as per the description of the GoFundMe, it will cost millions of dollars to make Grimm walk again.

The GoFundMe has been set at $2.5 million. As of this writing, only $37,298 has been raised. Funds are being raised by the Michael Grimm Supplemental Needs Trust, run by the family of Grimm. It is not clear how exactly Grimm’s devastating accident took place and what injuries it caused him. However, the donation page does mention that he had to “miraculously thread the needle to survive.”
