Here are the top 25 NYC public high schools, according to U.S. News & World Report

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. —The U.S. News and World Report has released its 2024 ranking of the top high schools across the United States, including in New York City.

The rankings evaluate nearly 18,000 eligible public high schools at the national, state and local levels. Along with national rankings, U.S. News published a state-by-state ranking of the best high schools, including in New York state.

According to U.S. News, the highest-ranked schools in the country are those where: students excelled on state tests, performing beyond expectations; participated in and passed a variety of college-level exams, and graduated in high proportions.
