Main Line Health’s four acute care hospitals recognized by U.S. News & World Report

LOWER MERION — The level of excellence for which Main Line Health is known resulted in all four of its acute care hospitals gaining recognition from U.S. News & World Report in its 2024-2025 Best Hospitals listing, including three ranking in the Philadelphia region’s top 10.

The publication provided the following rankings: Paoli Hospital: fourth regionally, 10th statewide; Lankenau Medical Center, fifth regionally, 11th statewide and Bryn Mawr Hospital, ninth regionally, 16th statewide

“Our people work hard every day to provide an elite level of care, and it’s heartening to see them receive the recognition they’ve so well-earned. I’m proud to work with such a talented team, one that is dedicated to continuing to bring safe, high-quality, equitable and affordable care to our region,” said Jack Lynch, FACHE, President and Chief Executive Officer, Main Line Health.

In addition to recognizing the hospitals’ overall performances, U.S. News & World Report acknowledged two hospitals’ specialties as high-performing: Paoli’s orthopaedics and Lankenau’s gastroenterology and GI surgery programs.

Lankenau Medical Center, Paoli Hospital, Bryn Mawr Hospital and Riddle Hospital were ranked high-performing in various procedures and conditions. All four were high-performing in heart attack, heart failure and knee replacement.
