Oklahoma State University’s undergraduate business program remains among the top 15
percent of accredited U.S. business schools after receiving recognition in the 2025
“U.S. News & World Report” Best Colleges rankings released today.

The Spears School of Business undergraduate program was tied for 77th – an improvement
of seven positions from No. 84 — among more than 530 programs in the rankings. U.S.
News surveyed deans and senior faculty members of undergraduate business programs
accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) during
the rankings process.

Also, the Spears Business Entrepreneurship program was tied for No. 31 nationally
in the U.S. News rankings of the best entrepreneurship programs.

“The improvement in the rankings is a reflection of the Spears Business faculty and
staff’s dedication to our students,” said Dr. Jim Payne, dean of Spears Business.
“Earning these rankings from our business school peers across the nation is the highest
compliment we can be awarded. Providing a quality education for our students will
continue to be our top priority.”

The business school’s undergraduate program consistently ranks among the top 15 percent
in the nation and is not the only Spears Business program that has been honored by
U.S. News in recent months.

In February, OSU’s online MBA was ranked 16th best in the nation by U.S. News, the
first top 20 ranking in program history. Additionally, OSU’s online MBA in business
analytics tied for No. 20 in the rankings, and OSU tied at No. 14 for online MBA programs
for veterans. In the spring, OSU’s full-time MBA jumped to No. 76 nationally, while
the part-time MBA remained among the top 60 in the nation.
