Trump gives rambling Dr Phil interview after staff cemetery clash accusation: Live

With a screenshot of his TikTok account, Donald Trump claims to be “destroying” the Democrats on social media.

Here’s what he said on Truth Social this afternoon:

IT’S ALWAYS FAKE WITH KAMALA. WE’RE DOMINATING HER ON SOCIAL MEDIA, SO SHE MAKES UP A FAKE LIST OF HER NUMBERS VERSUS MY NUMBERS. ALL OF OUR ENGAGEMENT IS REAL AND ORGANIC, WHILE KAMALA HAS TO PAY FOR HER FAKE ENGAGEMENT. WE’RE BEATING HER “LIKE A DRUM”, LIKE WE WILL BEAT HER ON NOVEMBER 5TH. IT’S ALL FAKE, IT’S ALL MISINFORMATION AND DISINFORMATION. WE ARE DESTROYING THE DEMOCRATS ON SOCIAL MEDIA!

It must be all the dour videos predicting the downfall of the country. The kids love that.

In February 2022, a jury unanimously determined that the newspaper and then-editorial director James Bennet were not liable for defamation over a 2017 editorial about the rise in violent political rhetoric.

Donald Trump continues to rage about the gag order imposed on him by Judge Juan Merchan during his criminal hush money trial in New York. Either he still doesn’t understand the scope of the judge’s ruling or he doesn’t care and is deliberately blowing it out of proportion in order to play the role of persecuted victim for his devotees. Either scenario could be true.

The former president wrote on Truth Social today:

The Gag Order applied by Highly Conflicted Acting Justice Merchan is horrible and unAmerican. I am the Leading Candidate in the Election, having beaten all Republicans, and now beating the second Democrat Nominee, Comrade Kamala Harris, who was put in as a result of a COUP against Crooked Joe Biden. When asked about the lawless Manhattan D.A. Hoax, I am not allowed to talk about the most important and corrupt aspects of it, because of the completely unConstitutional Gag Order. I am the first Candidate in American History who is not allowed to freely speak about a major Witch Hunt being perpetrated against him. I must be immediately released from the Gag Order, so I can continue to expose the Weaponization of our Justice System by the Radical Democrats. The GOOD NEWS is that the American People see through these Witch Hunts, and will bring us a dominant Victory on November 5th. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

The hotly contested race comes as little surprise to Marylanders, who know Hogan from his two terms as governor where he enjoyed some of the highest popularity ratings of any state leader in the country. He was widely viewed as the only Republican with a serious chance of winning the seat before the governor announced his candidacy.

Alsobrooks, meanwhile, remains a relatively lower-profile politician for voters outside of Prince George’s County where she has served as executive. What she lacks in statewide recognition, however, she makes up with strong ties to the national Democratic Party as well the Maryland Democratic political machine.

A source told NPR that the cemetery official had tried to stop Trump staffers from filming and photographing in a section of the cemetery known as Section 60, where recent US casualties are buried.

Arlington officials had reportedly made it clear to the Trump campaign beforehand that only cemetery staff are authorized to photograph or film in the area.
