Team USA is hoping that it can take the momentum from a signature win over Canada and bring it into a quarterfinal matchup against Switzerland at the 2025 World Junior Championship.
The Americans secured the top spot in Group A with a 4-1 victory over the Canadians on New Year’s Eve. Goaltender Trey Augustine delivered a stellar performance, stopping 38 of the 39 shot attempts from Team Canada.
Now, Team USA will look to reach the semifinal round for the eighth time in the last 10 years. Can the Americans keep rolling on Thursday afternoon?
